Portuguese regulator licensed its first online casino

According to Calvin Ayre resource, the SRIJ gambling regulator (Serviço Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos) has recently issued its first license that goes in full correspondence with the new regulatory rules of online gambling in Portugal.

The license was awarded to Estoril Sol company, which owns three online casinos: Casino da Povoa, Estoril and Lisbon. These casino brands brought to their owners more than $ 200,000,000 profit in 2015 and approximately similar amount of winnings to the players. From now on these casinos will operate using Gaming1 platform and will allow users to play a game of online roulette, online blackjack and of course – online slots. Also recently the first legal bookmaker was launched in this country – BetClic Everest.
